Where Can I Find Cheap Video Games?
After writing my post about living in the dorms earlier I started having flashbacks to my dorm days. When I was in the dorms they were just beginning to get wired with cable at my school, so Video Games were key! The Madden and Street Fighter tournaments were intense. Even those that were not into video games were involved in our dorm wide tournaments. Now, I don’t recommend missing class over Video Games, but I’d put my money on it that more than a few classes are missed each year because of them.
Since video games can cost upwards of $60 dollars, I decided to look for a cheaper way to play the latest games without going over your budget. I found a video game rental service similar to Netflix which allows you to rent games and keep them as long as you want. You won’t be shipped a new game or games until you return the ones you currently have out. The cheapest plan is $6.95 for one game out at a time and they offer a 10-day free trial which includes 2 games out at a time. Buying just one new game from your local video game shop would pay for close to 6 months of membership on this site. I have been using their service for the past 2 months and love it. I am one of those that gets bored with games easily, so once I am bored, I just ship the current one back and get something new. Maybe my next game requested will be an old version of Madden, to really refresh the dorm memories!
