Quick Six Pack Abs Work Out
For those of you that reached this page from my 2009 Goals post, you realize that this is a short term step of one of my fitness goals in the new year. I came across the idea after receiving an email from Steve at www.twohundredsitups.com. I will also be using another of Steve’s programs in hopes that I will be able to do 100 pushups in 6 weeks.
I will use this post to keep track of my progress throughout the program. Whether my 6 pack abs work out is a success or a failure it will all be posted here for you to see.
After researching the subject extensively I understand that nutrition and diet is 80% of ab development. I don’t want to just be able to do 200 sit ups. I also want to be able to see the results. I will be incorporating many of the tips I learned in the Truth About Abs program. You can grab the free truth about abs ebook if you would like to follow along or learn more about the program.
The two hundred sit-ups program begins with an intial test. This test will determine which path you will take in the program. The intial test consists of doing as many good form sit ups as possible without cheating.
*On a quick side note after reading the two hundred sit up challenge site, I noticed that although it is a “sit up” program, I will actually be doing crunches and not actual sit-ups.
Date 1/4/2009 – Initial Test
During my intial test I completed 34 sit ups. This will be my starting point for the program. Looking at the initial chart, I see that I fall into the “poor” range. That only means one thing. I have tons of room for improvement and am looking forward to it!
