Great Tasting Muscle Milk Protein Powder
I am by no means an expert body builder, but I do try to stay in shape and stay healthy. One of the most important parts to looking good and feeling good is nutrition. Many in the nutrition field believe you should eat five to six smaller meals each day. I work a full time job and it’s almost impossible for me to fit in that many regular meals. Protein powders help me by giving me a quick meal when I don’t have time to fix a traditional meal. I have tried many protein powders in the past and have had issues ranging from taste, after taste, mixability and price. Muscle Milk has been by far the best I have tried!
Muscle Milk comes in several flavors and I have tried both “chocolate milk” and cake batter. Chocolate milk, Muscle Milk can be found online and at most health food stores. Cake Batter Muscle Milk at the time of writing this, I have only been able to find online. Both of these taste great and mix very well. I use nonfat milk to mix them. I have not tried using water so the taste may vary if that is your method.
I just recently ordered the Cake Batter Muscle Milk and am very impressed. I add around eight to ten ounces of milk to the powder and mix in the standard shaker bottle. The powder mixes without leaving the lumps that other powders leave behind. I love the taste of cake batter. I could drink these things all day long. They taste more like a desert than something that can benefit my fitness program.
I am aware that there are people that oppose Muscle Milk for various reasons. Most of these critics point to the fat content of the product. The fat content is made up of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids which are less likely to be stored as fat. For me the mixability and more importantly the taste will keep me ordering Muscle Milk again and again.
