College Rejection Letter
I was reading an article in the WSJ and saw that this year’s high school graduating class, applied to more colleges than ever before. You know what more applicants means right? More school rejection letters. It seems that the new fad is creating a “wall of shame” to display your college rejection letters. Times sure have changed! I think if I had received a rejection letter, it would have found its way to the closest trash can pretty quickly.
Now don’t get me wrong, just because a school rejects you doesn’t mean you are a failure. It is getting harder and harder to get into college and with the increase in competition it is not always easy to stand out from the pack.
As I have said before, don’t get discouraged. Sometimes plans change. Re-evaluate your situation and get back on course. Remember, look for something that excites you in life and follow that path. Don’t get stuck in something you don’t want to do and turn into an angry old fart always complaining about your job.
